Information we collect
When you create an account, enter a show, manage an entry, or check in at an event, BHJA may collect your name, email address, phone number, trainer, horse names, class selections, membership status, entry fees, payment status, and attendance activity. You may browse public show information without creating an account.
How we use information
We use this information to operate shows, process and reconcile entries, communicate about events, maintain rider accounts, manage scratches and class changes, record show-day attendance, calculate standings, and protect the website and its users.
Service providers
BHJA uses service providers for website hosting, account authentication, data storage, and payment processing. These providers receive information only as needed to perform those services. BHJA does not sell personal information.
Payments
Payments are handled by our payment provider. BHJA does not store complete credit or debit card numbers on this website.
Retention and choices
We retain records for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the circuit, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain historical results. You may ask the show office to review, correct, or delete your account information, subject to records BHJA must retain.
Children
A parent or legal guardian should create or manage accounts and entries for minors and provide any required show releases or consents.
Contact and updates
Privacy questions may be directed to the BHJA show office using the contact information published on this website. We may update this policy as the circuit and its services develop; the effective date above will reflect the latest version.
